Nawrast is a Geologist and Lecturer at the University of Basrah, whose current research is focused on the Sustainability and management of natural resources of Southern Mesopotamian Basins. She has accomplished her PhD degree of Geology in 2013, from University of Mosul- Iraq. Her research was focusing on the Basin Analysis of the under-discover Gas and Petroleum of Paleozoic Succession, Iraq. She has also a professional diploma in Public Policy and Leadership, from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.
